Travel around the mesmerizing landscape of Rajasthan on this tour. This land symbolizes the essence of India, the bravery of the Rajput warriors, and showcases the great hospitality of the people of Rajasthan. Our journey is a kaleidoscope of magnificent forts, spellbinding palaces, well-preserved museums, and the rich history of Rajasthan as depicted in its folklore. You’ll be introduced to famous travel destinations, remote villages, colourful bazaars, aromatic cuisines, and lively people.
The journey starts with exploring the charm of bustling Delhi. Be romanced by Taj Mahal in Agra. Wander in the streets of the pink city Jaipur, explore the heritage buildings and vibrant markets of Bundi, watch the pilgrims along the holy lake of Pushkar, admire the historical Jodhpur, the blue city, and fall in love with the city of lakes, Udaipur.
Day 1-2 Delhi
India’s capital Delhi is a hub for politics, business and culture. It is busy and chaotic, but always retains its charm. Historical sites, museums, religious places and markets make this the perfect place to begin your travels in India.
Trip orientation will fill you with details about the trip. Your two days in this charming city include a guided history walk through the narrow streets and markets of Old Delhi and visit of some of the exciting attractions such as India Gate, President’s House and Kutub Minar. If you wish to see more in your free time you can pick your options out of Humanyun’s tomb, Lotus temple, Gandhi museum, Akshardham temple and exploring the modern parts of Delhi.
Day 3 Agra
Travel to the Mughal city of Agra, a marvelous blend of romance and beautiful architecture. You will have a guided tour of historical Agra Fort where you can admire the exquisite architecture of the Mughal empire. Then visit Taj Mahal, the symbol of love built by the Mughal King Shahjahan in the memory of his loving wife Mumtaj.
Day 4-5 Jaipur
Step into Jaipur today, the capital of Rajasthan. named the ‘Pink City’ after the vibrant hues of its buildings, Jaipur was the first planned city of India and is world famous for its beautiful architecture.
Navigate the narrow winding streets to immerse in the beauty of the colourful bazaars, sip a cup of Masala chai in a street shop, and pass through the ‘Palace of Winds’ Hawa Mahal a five story old building with hundreds of windows. Visit the striking Amber Fort situated outside the city and admire the Jantar Mantar observatory which is a captivating World Heritage site. If you are interested to do and see more catch a Bollywood movie with the locals, visit the fascinating City Palace Museum and explore the local markets providing plenty of opportunities for souvenir shopping.
Day 6-7 Bundi
Bundi is a historical city once ruled by Hada Rajput worriers. Drive through the rural roads of Rajasthan to reach the city of step wells and explore the local markets. A guided tour will introduce you to the stunning paintings of Bundi palace and the history of step wells. You will have an opportunity of going for a village tour and experiencing the gorgeous countryside and rural life of Bundi.
Day 8 Pushkar
Drive to the spiritual city Pushkar. Visit the Ancient Brahma temple and the holy lake. Enjoy the free time exploring the colourful markets, watching the pilgrims at the Ghats and relishing the delicious delicacies in local sweet shops.
Day 9-10 Jodhpur
Journey to Jodhpur which is located in the western part of Rajasthan. The city is dominated by spectacular Mehrangarh Fort and is also famous as the ‘Blue City’ in reference to many painted houses in the old city. Visit the magnificent fort and get acquainted with the rich history of Rathore kings and have an amazing view of the old city. We will take a drive to the Bisnoi village out of the city and experience the crude beauty of the rural Jodhpur. Free time gives you the chance to explore the bustling old bazaars full of spice shops, textiles, fruits and vegetables.
Day 11-13 Udaipur
The tales of Colourful Rajasthan are not complete without visiting Udaipur, the romantic city of India. Udaipur’s unique location makes it often hailed as the ”City of Lakes” and ”Queen of the Mountains”.
There is plenty to see in Udaipur and the time will fly by. Visit the fascinating City Palace, enjoy the cultural show at Bagore ki Haveli and join the locals in the evening worship at Jagdish temple. Take a boat ride in Pichhola Lake devouring the mesmerizing panoramic view of the beautiful old city. Discover the vivacious markets displaying a variety of textiles and miniature paintings. Moreover, you have an opportunity to learn some Indian delicacies in a cooking class.
Day 14 Delhi
We fly to Delhi today. Have some rest and enjoy your free time with shopping, exploring New Delhi, or visiting some interesting sites.
Day 15 Departure
There are no planned activities today, but we will be happy to help you organise other activities and sightseeing. Please confirm check out time from hotel reception. If you wish to extend your stay in Delhi, we can book additional accommodation if you notify us at the time of booking.
